Prospective Whale Audits Kingdom; Three Alliances Become Competing Sales Departments
A prospective transfer arrived in World Chat and opened with the question every serious military power asks before moving thirty-seven governors across the continent:
"not bad, how is the weather here?"
Valkyrie supplied the official meteorological doctrine:
"always sunny in 1171"
The statement has not been checked against clouds, winter or the emotional climate after Bear Trap, but it was accepted. The visitor, appearing publicly as Whale #10XX, advanced to the second stage of the interview: NAP3, alliance strength, World Chat activity and whether anyone in government knew who was in charge of transfers.
The answer to the final question was approximately no. This demonstrated authentic local governance and allowed the interview to continue without management interference.
Whale asked whether World Chat was usually quiet. Valkyrie replied that it depended, but there was "usually a lot of gambling going on." This was not the strongest possible reassurance. It was, however, the first honest tourism brochure ever issued by #1171.
The conversation then stopped being a visit and became due diligence. Whale reported around thirty-seven very active members, described being a one-person army in the current kingdom and said the purpose of moving was to find teamwork rather than continue carrying everything alone.
Then came the disclosure normally delivered after the biscuits:
"Ok just to be transparent, my power exceeds you guys here. Is that ok with everyone?"
Whale reported 2,800 mythic points, with the next player in the current kingdom at 1,800. World Chat briefly experienced the sensation of being interviewed by the building it was standing in.
Nobody panicked. Instead, all three leading alliances opened sales desks. Valkyrie jokingly approved the power difference on condition that Whale join UNF. GEZEGEN explained that an empty alliance could be supplied, although a place in an established alliance would be more practical, and later offered the full MMA financial package, in translation:
"we can make you a whale without spending"
This is either the greatest free-to-play breakthrough in Kingshot history or a sentence that should never be repeated within hearing distance of Accounting.
Ishtar presented the UNF prospectus: a good server, working together, focused on KvK and rowing in the same direction. The prospectus then achieved complete transparency by adding that #1171 likes rolling dice so the same people always win.
Whale proceeded through the kingdom with a clipboard. How many of the 328 apparently active accounts were farms? How many inactive members sat in the top three alliances? What was Swordland attendance like? Was Castle rotation real? Did people move between alliances when help was needed? #1171 had expected to show off its power and instead found itself completing an annual compliance survey in public.
On the farm question, the kingdom produced its most rigorously verified figure:
"nobody knows"
The answer was supplied by Cassely and has been adopted as the official census method until someone counts past the first screen.
MMA eventually admitted Whale for an inspection. HUN opened a visiting desk later. UNF had already delivered weather, unity and gambling disclosures. In less than two hours, the kingdom had become a property viewing in which the property kept offering coffee and asking the buyer to roll two dice.
The Gazette cannot confirm whether Whale #10XX will transfer, establish an alliance or merely publish a devastating inspection report. It can confirm that #1171 passed every question by refusing to hide the strange parts. The kingdom offers Castle rotation, strong teamwork, active alliances, uncertain farm numbers, reliable sunshine, deeply unreliable dice and an aubergine on arrival.
That is not a recruitment package. It is a controlled substance with NAP3.

DrButtLovin Opens Royal Posterior Clinic; Waiting-Room Chairs Turn Away
The Gazette has waited years for a Page 3 candidate whose name is simultaneously a medical title, a specialist department and a written warning from building management. DrButtLovin crossed into World Chat and began with the traditional physician's greeting:
"MMA can I get an invite, just want to stop by and say hi"
One message later, the waiting room opened:
"Maybe offer a doctor's appointment or two"
And then came the credentials:
"I'm on a trip with Doctors without Borders"
In three messages, an international visitor had entered MMA, opened a clinic, offered the entire appointment menu and removed the borders. The Kingdom Planning Office is still searching for a form that covers this sequence without requiring a sketch.
The Royal College divided the name into its three claimed qualifications. Dr remains unverified. Butt appears to identify the department. Lovin looks alarmingly like a treatment plan approved before the consultation. All three were stamped because the clerk already had the stamp out and did not wish to ask for clarification. The College later insisted this was posterior medicine only in the administrative sense, then removed every chair before anyone could define administrative.
The official portrait shows the Doctor in regulation scarlet, wearing a stethoscope with the authority of Governor Gear, two appointment cards and a heart-shaped piece of ceremonial rear armour large enough to require its own Governor ID. The armour is not protective equipment. It is affection with rivets. One nurse chicken has been assigned the measuring tape; the other has been instructed to write continuously without looking up.
The privacy screen has been placed around a potted plant. The plant has retained counsel and refuses to confirm whether it booked the first appointment, the second appointment or merely happened to be standing near the word Lovin when the Page 3 desk arrived.
The clinic's services are believed to include rally rash, teleport dizziness, acute event fatigue, chronic notification swelling, seat-of-government realignment and a second opinion delivered by the same doctor wearing a different hat. Every procedure begins with "just want to stop by and say hi" and ends with a zoning official quietly moving the rear entrance two hundred metres outside NAP.
The Gazette cannot establish what the Doctor loves, which borders were crossed or why two appointments were advertised before a single patient appeared. These are exactly the questions medical confidentiality was invented to stop newspapers from answering. The Decency Desk therefore enlarged the portrait, filed the consent form upside down and placed a fern over the only part of the story it understood.
No patients have come forward. Several chairs backed slowly toward the exit, which the Royal College has counted as walk-ins and a one-hundred-percent survival rate. DrButtLovin thus leaves Page 3 as the first physician in kingdom history to practise preventative medicine simply by announcing the clinic's name in public.
War And Technology
Alliance Brawl Opens Time Portal; Raid Button Remains In Present
Alliance Brawl matched HUN against an alliance from a newer generation and immediately demonstrated the strategic disadvantages of fighting the future: its caravans could be seen, inspected and admired, but not attacked.
Big Chicky Nuggy pressed through raid history, selected the caravan and arrived at the target with no raid action available. Gara found the same problem. Samantha considered whether the caravan had already been attacked. Rafiki offered the more supportive diagnosis:
"maybe you're not strong enough"
Nuggy rejected this on technical grounds:
"the weird part is im still stronger."
The opposing account reportedly carried a newer hero generation, TG8 troops and T11 infantry. HUN had therefore not been matched with another alliance so much as shown an educational film about retirement.
Google AI was consulted and suggested the missing button came from the generation mismatch. It also said the other alliance likely could not raid HUN either. Gara correctly isolated the decisive legal term:
"and it used word: likely"
The entire fairness of Alliance Brawl was now resting on one adverb generated by a machine that had not seen the caravan.
Nuggy and Rafiki contacted customer support. MyQueen requested the only proportionate remedy:
"Maybe we will all get free mythril!!!!"
Legion identified the actual cause. Esat and Nuggy had progressed so quickly that the calendar itself had lost position:
"Your insane pace has got the game all messed up, we don't even know what generation we're in anymore."
Customer support acknowledged the issue, changed the opponent and promised compensation. The package included gems, Truegold and an island building. It did not include free mithril, a raid button from the future or an apology from time.
The repaired Brawl continued against a chronologically appropriate opponent. HUN's brief visit to the future has been classified as a scouting mission. Please do not ask what was learned. We were unable to click it.
Sport And Treasury
Swordland Converts 101,000 Gems Into 5,000; Treasury Calls Shape Of Trophy Encouraging
HUN entered Sunday with two Swordland campaigns, one narrow defeat, one narrow victory and a financial model normally associated with setting fire to a bank while cheering for teamwork.
Legion 2 led for long stretches before the opponent accelerated through loot at the end. MyQueen issued the final tactical summary:
"Fack fack fack"
kmac04 supplied the player assessment:
"i've never felt so useless"
A deceptively low-TG opponent with very strong Governor Gear had acted as a trap. HUN had discovered that troop labels are only a suggestion and that a small frog wearing expensive jewellery remains a small frog only until it hits the march.
Elsewhere, Rafiki apologized for being absent from the post-match discussion:
"I was single handedly winning swordland over at HoT"
The opposition consisted of TG2 and TC30 against Rafiki's TC26. Victory was described as no big deal, apart from the twenty advanced teleports required to make it no big deal. This is the recognised sporting definition of effortless: success after moving house twenty times.
Legion 1 then fought one of HUN's closest recent matches and won. The opponents complimented the group. The team celebrated. Accounting opened the speedup ledger and asked everyone to sit down.
Legion reported 90,000 diamonds spent. CR7 reported in Arabic that 101,000 gems had produced 5,000 in return, declared regret and asked what they had done to themselves.
The Gazette calculates a return of minus 95.05 percent, before emotional costs, teleport depreciation and the replacement of the word fun. This is poor investment performance but excellent Swordland performance, because the badge arrived and the diamonds did not have to live through another close finish.
The official result is therefore: HUN won, the opponents were gracious, the teamwork was excellent and the Treasury has entered witness protection.
Food And Diplomacy
Pineapple Peace Plan Requires Fruit To Be Eaten First, Table Moved Second
GigoloGermanikus sacrificed a pizza to the game, allowing it to burn while attention was elsewhere. The loss could have united HUN in grief. Instead, Gigolo noted the important mitigating factor: at least there had been no pineapple on it.
Blazzin shadow reopened proceedings immediately. A pineapple-pizza mosaic was filed. Big Chicky Nuggy confirmed the long-standing position:
"I despise pineapple pizza."
Then came the concession. If sufficiently hungry and pineapple pizza were the only remaining food, Nuggy would eat it, but would eat the pineapple first. This is not acceptance. It is ingredient evacuation.
Blazzin promised to remember the preference should the two ever go out for pizza. Nuggy announced the corresponding diplomatic response:
"thats when I change tables..."
The new treaty is now clear. Pineapple is edible. Pizza is edible. Combining them creates a border incident. In an emergency, the fruit may be removed and consumed before the pizza, provided the witness then relocates far enough away to deny the original arrangement.
Blazzin later offered Dori a pineapple to kiss. No kiss has been confirmed. The fruit remains available for questioning and is believed to be enjoying the attention.
Kingdom Around
Notices From Around The Kingdom
'PUBLIC SPEECH:' Attila requested everyone's attention and announced:
"You have lost 'The Game' That is all."
CptCheez reported having been winning for years. Those years are gone. The Gazette will not explain The Game. Citizens requiring an explanation have not yet lost correctly.
'KAIJU CONTROL:' MyQueen summoned Godzilla with a knife, declared it time to burn and said victory was likely. The attack was then postponed until the next day because a couple more troops might help. Residents are advised that the monster emergency is severe but currently awaiting training capacity.
'GAMBLING COMMISSION:' ENOLA requested "only small dice." Kunal won, then won again. Investigators found no proof of corruption, only the familiar problem that dice in #1171 recognise senior management.
'ANIMAL REGISTRY:' Legion proposed replacing a unicorn with a chicken and adding a horn to preserve visual continuity. Blazzin concluded that the animal was trying to find chicken nuggets. The Registry has classified the creature as a conflict of interest.
'CENSUS UPDATE:' #1171 has 328 apparently active members, an unknown number of farms and one visiting whale who asked the question before local government had finished inventing the answer. The next census will count visible coffee cups and multiply by optimism.
'WEATHER:' It remains always sunny in #1171. Rain must apply during the next transfer window and demonstrate sufficient mythic points.
Gazette Verdict
#1171 spent the week being inspected by a whale, matched against the future, treated by a doctor without borders, outperformed by its own Swordland receipts and returned to the pineapple dispute because international affairs had become too straightforward.
The visitor wanted teamwork and received three sales departments. HUN wanted a raid button and received an island building. Swordland wanted diamonds and received most of them. The pineapple wanted peace and received a separate plate.
This is a functional kingdom. It is simply functional in the way a coffee machine is functional after someone adds dice and asks it to manage transfers.
Quote Of The Week
"Your insane pace has got the game all messed up, we don't even know what generation we're in anymore."
Legion receives Quote of the Week for reducing a cross-generation matchmaking failure to the only explanation HUN was prepared to believe: two governors had upgraded so hard that Sunday arrived from another server.
Footnotes From The Red Dot Desk
The Desk confirms that no raid button, free mithril or reliable farm count was found before press time. The potted plant from Page 3 remains under medical privacy. The pineapple has changed tables.
