The dungeon accepts repeat customers, a resource point disputes its own inactivity, UNF expands quietly, and the chocolate arrives with casualties.

Esat Finishes Bear Hunt, Requests Return To Jail; Heckler Receives Adjacent Accommodation

The Gazette's reconstruction of the only lodging establishment whose customers hurry back from an excursion.
The Gazette's reconstruction of the only lodging establishment whose customers hurry back from an excursion.

Esat asked Winter to let him out of jail on Thursday. He had Bear Hunt to attend. Winter obliged, with the sort of cheerful condition normally attached to borrowing an innkeeper's best horse:

"Tell me when it's done I'll put you in afterwards 😊"

Autumn reminded the departing MMA governor that his punishment was not over. The dungeon had granted sporting leave, not an acquittal. Esat could go and hit the bear, provided he returned to the establishment whose entertainment programme had somehow made liberty look like a scheduling inconvenience.

He did not need chasing.

"Its done put me In jail πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚"

Winter answered, "Yayy". No escaped prisoner has ever received a warmer homecoming. The Gazette's travel correspondent has stayed at inns where the landlord looked considerably less pleased to see a paying guest.

Godzilla then made the oldest mistake in the visitors' gallery:

"Keep him there !"

Cassely suggested putting Godzilla there too. Winter agreed and announced:

"Done πŸ˜‚"

Godzilla objected to the proximity of his new neighbour. Thus a perfectly serviceable heckle became a room allocation. MMA had supplied the returning guest, the audience, the nomination and the complaint; Winter merely operated reception.

The demand was already visible on Wednesday. Esat had heard there was a party at UNF. Winter said this was news to her too, but why not? Valkyrie supplied the detail omitted from the invitation:

"I hope they told you the party would be in the dungeon πŸ‘€"

Godzilla asked where it was. Snorlax wanted to join. Valkyrie welcomed him, then disclosed that the dungeon master had already gone to bed. The most exclusive venue in #1171 had a queue outside and nobody awake enough to lock it.

Madam President wondered why Esat was in prison while she was not. lagcity offered the management theory: "because the inmates run the prison now". The Gazette treats this as the evening's joke, rather than a verified change of ownership. It nevertheless explains why the customer satisfaction figures are so troublingly high.

Autumn called the punishment unfinished. Valkyrie called the party endless. Esat went out, struck a bear and asked to be brought back.

The dungeon has achieved what every inn dreams of: a guest who checks himself in, and a critic who accidentally books the next room.

Public Order

Ronin Says He Is Wasting Time; Resource Point Discovers Whose

Ronin's return to the square came with a declaration that he had never been put in prison. Winter offered to change that. A public-service apprenticeship appeared to be available immediately.

Then Big Chicky Nuggy asked why cities were being burned and scout reports shared in World Chat. Ronin supplied a defence of startling economy:

"I'm just wasting time."

Nuggy pointed out that TUD was the kingdom's KvK alliance and asked that attacks, if made, be confined to towns outside alliances. His civic brief was simple: boredom was not a transferable liability.

Ronin said he had attacked only a farm account and a resource collection point, rather than active players. Those are his descriptions of the targets, not an independently established battle result. Nuggy challenged the distinction: somebody collecting resources was hardly convincing evidence of nobody being there. An alliance tag and territory were further reasons to leave the place alone.

The imaginary defence counsel had expected to argue over motive. It now faced the more awkward question of why an inactive town had sent somebody out to work.

"Yes sir, sir."

Thadeus also complained in German about an attack on resources. Ronin told him, "I am not weak, you are strong.😘". This is a surprisingly graceful way to concede that the wrong neighbour may have been selected, although it does not repair the collection point.

The conversation later wandered into departures and personal success. The Gazette leaves those outside the case. The useful finding was already on the table: the governor was wasting time, but the resources belonged to somebody else.

Local clocks are advised to remain shielded.

Culture And Catering

Hot Chocolate Fails To Secure Safe Passage; Village Divides Over What Goes In It

Sunday's beverage service began with Ishtar asking Winter to bring good coffee and offering hot chocolate in return. In a checked machine-translated paraphrase of the Spanish exchange, the invitation was warm, the delivery was special and the proposed refreshments were entirely civilised.

Winter reported that people were having fun messing with her troops. BaLu later described the purpose, in German, as covering her with hot chocolate. The square had discovered a catering language capable of accommodating military activity without allowing it to spoil the menu.

By evening, Ishtar's account had acquired a casualty. In a translated paraphrase, she said she had brought a cup of hot chocolate with the best intentions, only for it to be refused and her poor soldier swept away. The Gazette cannot establish a battle result from the complaint. It can establish that the complaint reached the kitchen.

WildBlueberry suggested in Spanish that perhaps the milk was the problem, then stopped to ask in English:

"wait... doesn't hot chocolate always have milk?"

MyQueen answered:

"I just use water πŸ‘€ πŸ™ˆ"

The cocoa guild had survived invasions, resource shortages and people calling every brown liquid coffee. It had not prepared for a recognised local governor treating the milk as an optional alliance member.

Franky_bear arrived with a third doctrine: melted chocolate and cream. This was less a compromise than sending reinforcements to both sides of the argument and eating the peace treaty.

WildBlueberry said, "it tastes wrong πŸ˜…". MyQueen answered:

"maybe your taster is wrong πŸ‘…"

That is how a recipe dispute becomes a calibration dispute. The ingredients were innocent; the witness's tongue had been referred for inspection.

Ishtar preferred milk, then suggested plant-based alternatives. MyQueen remembered a chocolate almond milk she loved. The debate had finally found a bridge, though nobody had explained how a courier carrying a hot drink was supposed to cross the battlefield holding it.

The village now recognises water, milk, almond milk and Franky's molten settlement as competing schools of cocoa. No recipe has yet demonstrated immunity to troop damage.

Until one does, the Catering Guild recommends sending the cup first and the soldier separately.

Snorlax Requests Tasting Rights; Two Cakes Admitted As One Piece

Snorlax liked Tuesday's new brewing game. Winter liked it too: sweet, funny, a pleasant diversion before KvK. Then HUN's prospective tasting officer raised the only question that matters when somebody hands a village a mysterious mixture:

"I want to try the brew we are making πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚"

Winter observed that it did not seem healthy. Snorlax agreed. The tasting application had passed every available test except the one involving drinking it.

No brew was verified consumed. The Gazette has therefore placed the menu under glass, where it may continue contributing to culture without contributing to the infirmary.

This caution is especially welcome given Monday's friendly HUN cake discussion. Blazzin shadow was surprised that Snorlax had any cake left. Snorlax explained that he normally kept one piece in case he became hungry.

One piece appeared as two cake symbols. Blazzin shadow noted that those were two full cakes.

"Nope that’s Snorlaxs one piece"

The matter was settled by the person best placed to know the dimensions of a Snorlax snack. It was indeed a snack. The village baker's measuring implements have been withdrawn pending enlargement.

The Gazette applauds this separation of duties. Winter questions the contents of the cup; Blazzin shadow questions the size of the plate; Snorlax remains ready to investigate both.

Readers inviting him to tea should bake in units of buildings.

Leaderboards And Neighbourhood Expansion

UNF Adds Nearly A Billion Power; Quiet Neighbour Requests Planning Permission Retroactively

MMA remained first, HUN second and UNF third on the kingdom's Alliance Power board between the September 28 and October 3 snapshots. The order was calm. The building work underneath it was not.

UNF rose from 20,569,166,079 to 21,511,237,005 power: an addition of '942,070,926'. The supposedly quiet neighbour had installed almost a billion units of extension while everybody was watching the dungeon door.

HUN rose from 22,032,675,804 to 22,167,757,917, adding '135,082,113'. A respectable local improvement. Unfortunately UNF had brought enough growth to make the comparison require a second measuring tape.

MMA moved from 23,489,112,919 to 23,368,147,074, a decline of '120,965,845', while retaining first place. The leading alliance still owns the largest house. The house has become slightly smaller, and the neighbours have become less decorative.

HUN's gap behind MMA narrowed by 256,047,958. UNF's gap behind HUN narrowed by 806,988,813. Our own extension remains dignified; the extension approaching from third place has started casting a shadow on it.

These are kingdom-wide snapshot changes, not event victories. The board does not explain whether membership, upgrades or other movement produced them. The Gazette declines to invent a contractor merely because the roofline is funny.

MMA keeps the address marked FIRST. HUN keeps SECOND. UNF keeps THIRD and apparently everything required to build another floor.

Residents are advised to ask the quiet neighbour what the scaffolding is for.

Notices From Around Town

Compulsory Accommodation Receives One Star

Valkyrie complained that the dungeon did not even have free WiFi and promised a one-star review on release. When asked about bail, she said it had been declined.

The innkeepers' guild admires the business model: a customer threatening to leave a bad review who must first apply to leave.

Franky Declares A NO Day

DrButtLovin reminded the square to complete daily missions for royal Authority tokens. Franky_bear refused. The Doctor threatened punishment and announced that he was R5 now. Franky refused that too, then explained:

"I’m having a NO day πŸ˜‚"

The calendar has accepted the holiday. Attendance is, naturally, disputed.

Legion Finds A Bear And Remembers His Manners

On Saturday, Legion asked around for a later Bear Hunt. Winter offered the later hunt at UnF; other invitations followed. Legion eventually appeared under an MMA tag, where ATA TÜRKOĞLU reminded the guest about the troop limit.

"ok thx πŸŒ·πŸ‘"

The visit proves a hunt was found, not a permanent transfer. The flower was accepted as evidence that even inter-alliance animal harassment can observe good manners.

Preparation Appeals Arrive Before Victory

ForEvigt reported in German that #1171 would face #1139 in KvK and thought it looked manageable. Jessy Bear urged teamwork. MIRZA USMAN offered the admirably direct instruction, "Let’s win prep".

The fixture is reported here as the square's account, not a certified result. The Gazette has reserved the victory headline and left the score blank. This remains the cheapest way to commission one.

Autumn Supplies The Power, Winter Supplies The Cells; WildBlueberry Applies For Fictional Duty

WildBlueberry takes the Crown's least repentant pose behind the bars of the Gazette's fictional cell. The Gazette has a fever, and the remedy is more blueberries.
WildBlueberry takes the Crown's least repentant pose behind the bars of the Gazette's fictional cell. The Gazette has a fever, and the remedy is more blueberries.

Before this week's dungeon acquired sporting leave, party applicants and travel reviews, it acquired a criminal code. On the previous Sunday, September 27, Valkyrie warned:

"Never send a πŸ‘ to Winter! She’ll send you to jail for it!"

Winter confirmed that this was based on a true story, then told Valkyrie she was already in jail. When the square asked who had given Winter such power, Winter named Autumn. The Queen had supplied the authority; Winter had found a use for it that fitted on one finger.

Rafiki asked what lesson was being taught and attached seventeen thumbs. Nadine later denied involvement with seven more. No completed arrest for either is established by those provocations. Their applications were nevertheless unusually well illustrated.

Winter eventually published the confession herself:

"I put everyone in jail who sent that damn thumps up πŸ‘€"

Autumn endorsed the dislike of thumbs-up. Warned about the shortage of cells, the Queen replied:

"I’m already remodeling πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚"

The administration was not divided. One supplied customers; the other enlarged the premises. Winter called herself good at advertising. A prison with a queue is entitled to make the claim.

This week's voluntary return by Esat gives that earlier scene its magnificent sequel. Freedom was available for Bear Hunt, after which the customer requested his usual confinement. Godzilla contributed a review from the corridor and was promptly upgraded to resident. The venue had begun acquiring customers faster than they could object to one another.

Page 3 has answered the casting call with WildBlueberry. No historical inmate roster is being supplied: he plays the scandal. The model has, however, brought fresh qualifications from the square.

On Thursday he asked:

"can you teleport out of a rally once it starts marching? asking for a friend"

Then:

"and for me too"

The anonymous friend had survived nine seconds before the applicant joined the case himself. "target locked on" followed. The Escape Desk admires a governor who identifies the exit problem before the gate has even become relevant.

On Friday, WildBlueberry announced himself as the Doctor's assistant, then improved the title:

"ass-istant, if you will"

Page 3 will. The staff directory has finally produced a position whose job description can defeat the Decency Desk without requiring anybody to remove a stitch.

The model now has two qualifications for fictional dungeon duty: a demonstrated interest in getting out, and an unsolicited application to work underneath a title the proofreader refuses to say twice.

Winter's establishment offers neither a reliable exit nor a respectable staff directory. It does offer repeat business. WildBlueberry is ready for his close-up; the prison is ready for an extension.

Applicants wishing to approve this arrangement should remember what happened to the thumb.
